What is eyebrow threading?
Threading is more effective and less painful than tweezing; hair re-growth becomes finer and more sparse after regular treatments;
and the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized in the process. Threading is highly recommended and an excellent option for
those who use Retin-A, Accutane, and similar products. You need to go to a Salon for eyebrow threading since it cannot be done at home by you.
It need skilled technician to mend your eyebrows and give them the curls and curve you desire.
Eyebrow Threading is an ancient Middle Eastern technique that removes hair. This technique is considered as epilating technique to remove the hair.
In this technique root takes longer to grow back because it removes hair by the follicle and a new root must grow before the hair can re-emerge.
Specialty of this technique is to create the arch of the eyebrow, to get rid of unibrows, recreate, add shape and definition to the eyebrows.
Threading is not only for eyebrows but also can be used to remove other unwanted facial and body hair. Once shape is created only touch up and
cleaning the extra hair is needed after three to four weeks depending upon how fast each individuals hair growth.
How does it work?
A cotton thread is pulled along unwanted hair in a twisting motion, to trap hair in a mini lasso, and lifts hair right out of the follicle.
The way the threaders hold and maneuver the thread is how the hairs are pulled directly from the root.
A small knot is created within a string cotton thread (regular sewing thread). With the thread wound between the threadress
fingers and her thumbs pressing down on the thread on either side of the knot, the thread is then pressed against the base of the hair.
It pulls the hairs from their roots, and a beautiful eyebrow shape is created.
Is this procedure safe?
It's extremely sanitary. Nothing but the thread touches the skin, and it's thrown away after use.
No chemicals are applied on the skin. When people have certain circumstances, or are taking medicines which conflicts with waxing and sugaring,
they can still get threading done. Temporary results can turn into permanent.
Over time, frequent threading can cause the hair follicle to become damaged, and stop growing hair.
Why is Threading better than Waxing or Tweezing?
Threading is more precise and the hair grows back finer and slower. There is no burning, peeling or irritation, and a great remedy for ingrown hair.
Facial threading is good alternative to waxing and tweezing, especially for sensitive skin people who are on Retin A and accutane.
Eyebrow threading not only removes unwanted hair around your eyebrow but also helps to get a precise and defined eyebrow shape according to
your facial features. Most of all, threading exfoliates the skin, giving you a mini facial while the hair is being removed.
